Maki Myers.

Hi, I’m Maki Myers, an innovative thinker with a hankering for designing clean, clever user interfaces and developing fantastic projects around the world. I have a strong awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability, emerging technologies, and open source CMS / WordPress. Living in sunny old England, with my trusty steed (my Macbook) – I work on projects big and small, alongside new start-ups to past clients such as the BBC, with strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery & PHP. If you have a project you’d like to discuss please get in touch and I’ll make sure to get back to you in a jiffy.

Client Projects Process

Doing it right!

Designing and developing a fantastic website that ‘cuts the mustard’ begins with a strong project process. (Step 1) Is to discuss your project in detail, to determine exactly the projects purpose, ultimate goals & target audience. This allows for (Step 2), a detailed proposal contract. After research and planning I deliver a project proposal outlining information on the brief, project scope, proposed schedule, pricing estimate, billing schedule and terms. All being well, (Step 3) kicks off with the actual design & development of the website. A project management account is opened to allow for the discussion and evolution of the website. (Step 4) is the final testing phase, making sure everything is in top shape for the transfer of the site once the go-ahead is given. Once the site has been transferred, you’re all set & everything is good to go! But if required, (Step 5) is available for any ongoing maintenance, support, evolution of functionality and tutorials where needed.

Powerful. Flexible. Reliable.

Every website I create is built completely bespoke, from the ground up, driven by an advanced framework which I’ve spent hundreds of hours perfecting. It’s without doubt my pride and joy. It allows me to meet almost any project demand, develop quicker and focus on the pixels much longer.

Premium WordPress Themes

Ninebase.com is my company website, launched in 2012. It's the platform from which I accept new contracts, it's also where I showcase my Premium WordPress themes, available for sale via Creativemarket.com at just £20 each. I've spent hundreds of hours perfecting my themes and packing them with the latest features. They're incredibly easy to use and set up, and ideal for junior designers and developers to build on top of, as well as clients who are comfortable navigating the WordPress interface. Every theme I create comes equipped with extensive documentation and ongoing support
